After discovering she is pregnant again Cara Burrows escapes her family home, her husband and two young children for a short break to collect her thoughts. She leaves behind a note telling her family the date she will return.
Arriving late at night at a five-star resort she can’t afford she is mistakenly given the key to the wrong room. When she lets herself in she discovers the two occupants, a father and daughter. Except startlingly the daughter bears a strong resemblance to a murder victim.
The story of Melody Chapa's death was all over the news and her parents were charged and are currently serving a life sentence for her murder.
Was it Melody she really saw? A girl who is believed to have been murdered?
Cara doesn’t know who to trust and with her own nerves pressed to breaking point she wonders if she just imagined it all.
