Entanglement by Katy Mahood

On May 26, 2018

Katy Mahood’s debut Entanglement is a story based on the theory that chance meetings and interactions often lead to connections later in life. Everything has a purpose.

It’s a striking look at how physical and mental illness can shape a family.

Stella and her husband John, Charlie and his girlfriend Beth, are all going through the challenges of life. They are bringing up children, dealing with ill health, and struggling with addictions. They live their lives in London and occasionally a chance meeting sparks recognition, which they are unable to place.

Thirty years on, their lives are pulled together as their stories interweave.

Mahood brings together a clever story that deconstructs motherhood, grief and relationships.  It is a moving depiction of family life that highlights how we are all often connected.

You can buy the book here in Australia and here in the UK.
