Films To Watch This Weekend

On February 13, 2015

Over all the Fifty Shades of Grey excitement? Here are a few other options that you might enjoy over the weekend.

KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE

We loved this film. Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organisation that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid Eggsy (Taron Egerton) into the agency's ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. Colin Firth stars as the super spy who recruits Eggsy and Samuel L. Jackson as the villain with a lisp that is hard to take seriously. Lots of fun!

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

Want to know why Eddie Redmayne has won so many award? Watch this film. He is simply brilliant.
The Theory of Everything is the story of the most celebrated physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking, and Jane Wilde the arts student he fell in love with whilst studying at Cambridge in the 1960s.
Little was expected from Stephen Hawking, a bright but shiftless student of cosmology, given just two years to live following the diagnosis of a fatal illness at 21 years of age. He became galvanized, however, by the love of fellow Cambridge student, Jane Wilde, and he went on to be called the successor to Einstein, as well as a husband and father to their three children. Over the course of their marriage as Stephenís body collapsed and his academic renown soared, fault lines were exposed that tested the lineaments of their relationship and dramatically altered the course of both of their lives.

AMERICAN SNIPER

A Navy SEAL recounts his military career, which includes more than 150 confirmed kills. Directed by Clint Eastwood, starring Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller and Jake McDorman.
Known as the ďLegendĒ, Kyle became a hero in Texas. He emerged from the war in Iraq as the most lethal sniper in the history of the U.S. military. Although his prowess as a sniper features in the film, the focus is on Kyleís personal life.
