Isabelle Anne Madeleine Huppert is a French actress of stage and screen. Since her debut in 1971, she has appeared in more than 100 film and television productions. Huppert's first English-language film was Rosebud(1975), starring Peter O’Toole. At Cannes she has won the Best Actress Award twice, for her roles in Violette Noziere (1978) and The Piano Teacher (2001).
