Here is a first look at the Coen Brothers scripted remake of 1966 film Gambit which originally starred Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine. Gambit, directed by Michael Hoffman (The Last Station), stars Alan Rickman, Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci and Cameron Diaz.

Private art curator Harry Deane (Colin Firth) devises a finely-crafted scheme to swindle England's richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar, (Alan Rickman) into purchasing a fake Monet painting. In order to entrap his buyer, he enlists a Texas rodeo queen (Cameron Diaz) to pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.

It looks brilliantly eccentric!
