Eurovision is full of outrageous songs, over the top outfits and hilarious commentary. For years Terry Wogan added his style of humour to the contest, this year Graham Norton was the voice behind the contest.
Despite the element of the ridiculous, over 190 viewers watched in earnest as the contest gathered momentum. After all, Eurovision gave us ABBA catapulting them into stardom after winning in 1974 with the hit Waterloo.
Sweden won again this year with Måns Zelmerlöw’s Heroes. A well deserved win.
Despite Graham Norton calling Australia’s entry ‘nonsense’ Guy Sebastian came in fifth with Tonight Again, a genuinely terrific pop song.
