Hamish and Andy are living it up on The People’s Cruise somewhere in the South Pacific. Surrounded by lucky radio listeners who won the coveted prize, they joined the Today show from the high seas to announce a new TV Show for 2017.

They didn’t share many details. We know that it will made by their Radio Karate team and be broadcast on Nine. Further details have been kept under wraps.

Hamish Blake seemed delighted as he geared up to celebrate in typical style: “We are rapt to be continuing our journey with the Nine Network and we're going to spend the rest of the cruise working tirelessly to invent a new cocktail to celebrate the occasion."

Michael Healy, Director of Television for the Nine Network, said: “Hamish and Andy are unique talent in Australia and we’re privileged to enjoy a longstanding relationship with them. The Radio Karate team have now created a bold and exciting new concept that we’re excited to bring to the Nine audience in 2017.”

Radio Karate is behind their previous successes including Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year (2011), Hamish & Andy’s Euro Gap Year (2012), Hamish & Andy’s Caravan of Courage: Australia v New Zealand (2012), Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year Asia (2013) and Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year South America (2014).
