Remember the 80s series Hart to Hart starring Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers? Well, it’s back – with a twist. Deadline reported that it is about to be remade by the NBC network with a gay couple instead of the original.
In the original Jonathan and Jennifer Hart, a wealthy couple who lead a glamorous jetset lifestyle, regularly find themselves working as amateur detectives in order to solve crimes in which they become embroiled. The series was created by novelist and television writer Sidney Sheldon.
The new Hart to Hart will feature attorney Jonathan Hart and his male partner, investigator Dan Hartman as they juggle domesticity with solving crimes.
No word yet on who will be playing the couple. Here’s a reminder of the original.
