The Sydney Film Festival opened last week and we have had the distinct pleasure of seeing quite a few of the quality films it has to offer.

Many of these films will not be hitting Australian screens for at least a few months so to whet your appetite we have put together a mash-up of the films we will be reviewing.

Keep an eye out for our reviews of the films below. They will be up next week and if you haven’t bought your tickets to the Sydney Film Festival yet, then hurry! They are selling fast.

Stoker – directed by Chan-wook Park and starring Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode.

The Way Way Back – directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, starring Toni Collette, Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell.

Only God Forgives – directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and starring Ryan Gosling.

The Bling Ring – directed by Sofia Coppola and starring Emma Watson.

Frances Ha – directed by Noah Baumbach and starring Greta Gerwig.
