This little elixir is the perfect year-round go-to for staying on top of your health and wellness. While it isn’t as strong as my fl u-fi ghter shot (left), it still packs a decent punch and is a great addition to your morning routine. I’ve included garlic here because of its incredible track record as an immune system booster – the lemon and lime should mask some of its strong taste.
2 lemons, peeled
1 lime, peeled
2 garlic cloves, peeled
2.5 cm piece of ginger, peeled
Put all the ingredients through the juicer, serve
straight up and enjoy.
If you don’t have a juicer you can put all the ingredients in a blender and whiz them together
until they become a fine, drinkable pulp. Just add a few dashes of water or coconut water to loosen
everything up a little before drinking.

Carrots are full of the important antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin A, which play a vital role
in supporting your immune system.
ABC LIVER CLEANSE
This great little liver-cleansing concoction of mine earns its name from its three key ingredients:
apple, beetroot and carrot. The earthy flavour of the beetroot can be hard for some, so I have added
the lemon and lime to give everything a bit of a fresh zing!
4 green apples
2 beetroot, peeled
1 lemon, peeled
1 lime, peeled
Put all the ingredients through the juicer. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

of consumption. Pre-preparing juice can result in the ingredients oxidising and a loss of freshness
