Keeping in line with this week’s accidental Shakespeare theme, we have just heard some big news!

Deadline breaks the news that Johnny Depp’s production company, Infinitum Nihil, has joined forces with Yellow Bird Productions, behind the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo films, and Tom Fontana for a scripted series based on Shakespeare’s plays. The series will be written by Randall Fontana (no relation to Tom Fontana) and will be a modern take on the Bard’s most popular plays.

Infinitum Nihil, Depp’s production company, which is run by Depp’s sister Christi Dembrowski is currently in production for Disney’s The Lone Ranger, previous credits include The Rum Diary and the Wallander BBC TV series starring Kenneth Branagh.

Trailer released for Winter's Tale starring Colin Farrell and Russell Crowe

The Trailer for the  much anticipated Winter's Tale has been released. The film, based on the novel by Mark Helprin, marks the directional debut of Oscar-winning screenwriter Akiva Godlsman (A Beautiful Mind).
