The John Lewis Christmas ad is here. It will make you weep.

This year John Lewis is supporting Age UK. The ad highlights the loneliness felt by thousands of elderly who spend the festive season on their own.

The haunting music is an Oasis track ‘Half the World Away’ recorded by Norwegian rising star Aurora.

This year the John Lewis story is about Lily who spies an old man on the moon through her brother’s telescope. He looks sad and lonely and Lily is keen for him to enjoy the festive season. We won’t spoil it for you. You will have to watch it to see what happens.
