SKIN-GLOW SMOOTHIE
SERVES 1
Chia seeds and flaxseed provide essential fatty acids that will make your skin glow, and berries and pumpkin seeds help with skin cell repair and growth.

Ingredients
1 frozen banana, chopped
1 cup blueberries and/or strawberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons goji berries
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon ground fl axseed
1 cup ice cubes
1 tablespoon coconut butter (optional)
walnuts, pumpkin seeds and extra goji berries, to serve

Method
Place the banana, berries, coconut milk, cinnamon, goji berries, chia seeds, flaxseed, ice cubes and coconut butter (if using) in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a glass and top with walnuts, pumpkin seeds and extra goji berries.

BOUNTY SMOOTHIE
SERVES 1
Because I love Bounty bars and wanted a healthy version!

Ingredients
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 frozen banana, chopped
3 tablespoons desiccated coconut
2 medjool dates, pitted and chopped
1 teaspoon chia seeds
cup coconut or almond milk
1 tablespoon almond butter or coconut butter
4 ice cubes
teaspoon xanthan gum, to thicken (optional)
12 teaspoons stevia granules (optional)
raw cacao nibs and extra desiccated coconut, to serve

Method
Place the cacao powder, banana, coconut, dates, chia seeds, milk, butter, ice cubes, xanthan gum and stevia (if using) in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a glass and top with cacao nibs and an extra sprinkle of desiccated coconut.

GREEN SMOOTHIE
SERVES 1
I created this smoothie to soothe all tummy troubles mint, ginger and chia are incredibly good for the digestive system. Plus rocket, lime and cucumber are excellent detoxifiers and absolutely full of nutrients. So next time youre feeling bloated, weighed down or just a bit under the weather, give it a try.

Ingredients
frozen banana, chopped
1 cup coconut water
a handful of baby spinach or rocket leaves
juice of lime
Lebanese cucumber
1 teaspoon chia seeds
34 mint leaves
teaspoon grated ginger
45 ice cubes

Method
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
