Danny Maccabee meets the girl of his dreams but has to enlist his loyal assistant Katherine to pretend to be his soon-to-be ex-wife in order to cover up a careless lie.

Saturday: And the Oscar Goes To … , 8.30pm, TCM

Narrated by Anjelica Huston, this traces the history of the Academy Awards, with a who’s-who of Hollywood interviews.
