Monday: Hitchcock, 8.30pm, Foxtel Movies Premiere

Starring Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock and Helen Mirren as his wife Alma Reville. The film tracks the relationship between one of the best known filmmakers and his wife during the making of "Psycho".

Tuesday: New Year's Eve, 8.30pm, ABC1

ABC TV kicks off 2014 with an explosive start as hosts of the iconic New Year's Eve Fireworks live from Sydney Harbour. Presented by Lawrence Mooney and Stephanie Brantz as well as a performance by Pete Murray.

Wednesday: Jonathan Creek, 8.30pm, ABC1

Friday: The Queen, 8.30pm, Seven

When news of the death of Princess Diana breaks upon a shocked and disbelieving British public, Queen Elizabeth II and her family are unable to comprehend the public response to the tragedy. Starring Helen Mirren as Queen Elizabeth II.

Saturday: Barefoot in the Park, 1.15pm, ABC1

A pair of New York newlyweds rent a freezing cold flat at the top of a lift-less building. Starring Jane Fonda, Robert Redford.
