Farmer Abe Woodhull tries to stay neutral between the British and the colonial militia while his childhood friends pressure him to join the revolt against the British by supplying intelligence information about British troop strengths and movements. Stars Jamie Bell, Seth Numrich and Heather Lind.

Lincoln finds himself giving a tutorial, Bec confesses she called her mum, and Mitch and Tara put the whole family in danger.

Friday: The Doctor Blake Mysteries, 8.30pm, ABC
When a famous actress is murdered at a charity event at the Colonist's Club, it really does become a night to remember, as Blake tries to find the killer with very little to help him. Stars Craig McLachlan.

Saturday: Life of Pi, 7.30pm, TEN
A young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger.
