Based on an awarded trilogy about Olof Palme comes this drama series about the - still to this day - unsolved murder of the former Swedish prime minister. A young American journalist commits suicide by jumping out of a window from the 15th floor of a dorm building. The police soon close the investigation, but in the papers the journalist left behind, a manuscript is found describing the Swedish Prime Minister and his alleged past as a spy. Olof Palme, the document claims, worked for the CIA after World War II, but later sold out to the Soviet Union. Twenty years later, LM Johansson now heads the Swedish National Bureau of Investigation and decides to solve the Palme case once and for all.
