Watch Emma Watson in The Circle

On December 8, 2016

Emma Watson has moved from Beauty and Beast to another literary adaptation. The Circle is a science fiction thriller based on the 2013 novel by Dave Eggers. The film stars Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, John Boyega, Karen Gillan, Patton Oswalt and Bill Paxton.

The Circle runs everything - all internet activity in one easy, safe and visible place. No wonder it is now the world's most powerful and influential company. So when Mae Holland (Emma Watson) lands a job at its glittering California campus, she knows, she's made it. But the more her ideals and ambitions become aligned with those of the Circle, the closer she comes to discovering a sinister truth at the heart of an organization seeking to remake the world in its image.

Read the book before you see the film. Buy the book here in Australia and here in the UK.
