Australians will be the first to see Wayward Pines – one of the most anticipated new US TV series of 2015.

The new psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) will have its WORLD PREMIERE on Foxtel's FX channel on May 14, 2015.

The 10 episode series is based on the best-selling novels Pines by Blake Crouch and stars Matt Dillon as Secret Service Agent Ethan Burke.

Imagine the perfect American town... beautiful homes, manicured lawns, children playing safely in the streets. Now imagine never being able to leave. You have no communication with the outside world. You think you're going insane. You must be in Wayward Pines. Secret Service Agent ETHAN BURKE (Matt Dillon) drives to the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, ID, searching for two missing federal agents. One of the best Secret Service agents in the Seattle office, he's the man who knew missing agent KATE HEWSON (Carla Gugino) better than anyone. They were more than partners; their relationship nearly destroyed Ethan's marriage. Everything changes when a truck slams into his car...and he wakes up in the Wayward Pines Hospital, with the intense and unpredictable NURSE PAM (Melissa Leo).

The stellar cast also includes Shannyn Sossamon (How to Make It in America), Toby Jones (Infamous, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Reed Diamond (Much Ado About Nothing), Tim Griffin (Prime Suspect), Charlie Tahan (Charlie St. Cloud) and Juliette Lewis (Cape Fear).
