Monday: True Detective, 6.30pm, Showcase

S1, Ep8. Episode 8: In 2012, Louisiana State Police Detectives Rust Cohle and Martin Hart are brought in to revisit a homicide case they worked in1995. Starring Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey.

Tuesday: Family Confidential, 8.00pm, ABC

Charles Blackman is one of Australia's most famous living artists. Saved from a life of poverty and hardship by art and love, he would blaze a creative trail around the globe. And his DNA is deeply imprinted in his progeny.

Wednesday: The Wrong Mans, 10.00pm, ABC

Premiere. Two ordinary office workers Sam and Phil, find themselves unwittingly caught up in a deadly criminal conspiracy after Sam answers an abandoned mobile phone at the scene of a car crash. Cast includes James Corden.

Thursday: Rectify, 9.35pm, SBS

Jacob's Ladder - In the season finale of Rectify, the town’s anger over Daniel’s release hits its boiling point with disturbing consequences for Daniel and the Holden/Talbot family.

The family goes on alert as Daniel's first week as a free man draws to a close and he begins to come to terms with the danger and possibility his new found freedom has brought to the surface.

Daniel reaches out to Janet and Amantha about what his future may hold.

Friday: Sleepless in Seattle, 8.3pm, Seven

Sam Baldwin is a depressed widower whose son calls a national radio talk show in hopes of finding a new mother and a new wife for his father. Thousands of single women across the country listen to Sam's sad story, and many respond, including Annie Reid, a Baltimore writer who's already engaged to marry another man. Starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

Saturday: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, 9.40pm, Nine

Holmes and Watson pursues a criminal mastermind. Starring Jude Law and Robert Downry Jr.
