Sense and Sensibility launches The Austen Project, a new series of six books that re-imagines Austen's great novels through the eyes of our best known authors. Sense and Sensibility will be followed by Val McDermid’s reworking of Northanger Abbey in April 2014. Curtis Sittenfeld will pen Pride and Prejudice to be published in Autumn 2014 and Alexander McCall Smith, author of No1 Ladies’ Detective Agency, has just been announced as the author of Emma.
