600g lamb mince
4 tsp za'atar
4tbs chopped dill
4 burger buns
1 juiced lemon
6 tbs olive oil
4 zucchini, slice longways
1 sliced red onion
For the pattie:†Preheat the oven to 180 C. In a small bowl add the lamb mince, za'atar and half the dill. Mix together well using your hands, season with salt and pepper, and then shape the mixture into burger patties.
For the buns: Place your burger buns in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown on the outside.
For the filling: Meanwhile mix together the yoghurt, remaining dill, lemon juice, and a good grind of salt and pepper in a small bowl. Leave aside.
Heat the olive oil on a griddle pan over high heat. Add the sliced zucchini and cook for 2-3 minutes on either side until cooked through. Then transfer to a warm resting place.
Heat some olive oil in the pan over medium-high heat. Add the burger patties and cook for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.Remove from the pan and start top construct your burgers.
To serve: Cut your burger buns in half, layer the buns by starting with the red onion, then the grilled zucchini, burger and then finally a good spoon of the tzatziki. Enjoy!
